Plan de mejoramiento para las importaciones en el área Dispatch de Ecutrucking

Abstract

La comunicación constante y el manejo de los canales adecuados con proveedores, clientes y colaboradores internos es indispensable en el área de importaciones y exportaciones. Para ello es indispensable tener en cuenta las partes involucradas dentro de este escenario, los sistemas de comunicación que se implementan, la constante retroalimentación con los equipos de trabajo y el manejo de una base de datos actualizada, ya que en el campo de la logística la rotación de personal es bastante alta y cambiante. Este proyecto busca mejorar la comunicación entre el área de Imports y Dispatch de Ecutrucking, una marca de la empresa LFS (Logistics Freight Solution). Adicionalmente, uno de los principales propósitos es optimizar el manejo de la información tanto con nuestros proveedores como con los centros de distribución en los Estados Unidos, específicamente para que los colaboradores de estas dos áreas ya descritas puedan tomar mejores decisiones en sus procesos del día a día y cuenten con una red de contactos actualizada para así hacer más efectivo el servicio y tener acceso a información verídica en el menor tiempo posible para evitar contratiempos o sobrecostos dentro de la cadena de suministro.

Constant communication and management channels are key in a partnership with suppliers, customers and internal collaborators in importations/exportations matters. For that reason, it is essential to consider all the parties involved in this scenario starting with the communication systems implemented thus far and the current feedback within the teamwork of the company. While also, ensuring an updated database which is very important in the field of logistics since the staff turnover is quite high and fast changing. Through the approach of this project, the aim is to improve communication between the imports and dispatch areas of Ecutrucking, a brand of Logistics Freight Solution. The goal is to optimize the management of information both with our suppliers and with the distribution centers in the United States. Particularly looking at the way collaborators of these two areas can make better decisions in their day-to-day operations while having an up-to-date network of contacts. It is critical that we focus on these items in order to strengthen our customer service, making it both a more efficient and effective experience. We also gain valuable access to accurate information at our disposal removing potential setbacks and cost overruns within the supply chain.
