dc.description.abstractEl objetivo del presente trabajo fue identificar la función de la vio-lencia en el vínculo establecido entre cónyuges (padres de familia) de seis familias nucleares habitantes del barrio La Gabriela de la ciudad deBello-Antioquia,einscritasenelProgramadeAtenciónIntegralala Familia (PAIF), de UNIMINUTO, Seccional Bello (Antioquia-Colom-bia). dc.description.abstractengThe objective of the present study was to identify the role of violen-ce in the bond established between husband and wife (parents) of six nuclear families, inhabitants of La Gabriela neighborhood of the city of Bello-Antioquia, registered in the program of integral family care Atención Integral a la familia (PAIF), UNIMINUTO, in the branch located in Bello municipality (Antioquia-Colombia). From a qualita-tive methodology of hermeneutic character, and getting support from the use of the semi-structured interview as a technique for collecting information, the research findings indicated that the bonds between spouseswhohavebeenimpactedbyviolentexperiencesarepreserved, modified, or replaced, thanks to violence presence; in other wordsvio-lence does not break ties, on the contrary, its presence keepsthemen_ES
