dc.description.abstractEl artículo presenta resultados de una investigación dirigida a determinar la respuesta sexual en hombres que han sufrido trauma craneoencefálico moderado o severo, doce meses después del alta hospitalaria, en la ciudad de Ibagué. El estudio empírico - analítico, con un enfoque cuantitativo y nivel descriptivo, examinó una muestra de 10 personas que sufrieron un trauma craneoencefálico moderado o severo, en edades comprendidas entre 18 a 45 años, de género masculino. Se utilizó el Cuestionario de cambios en la Función Sexual (CSFQ) y la Escala de Experiencia Sexual de Arizona (ASEX).Resultados; evidenciaron alteraciones en las etapas de la respuesta sexual en hombres que han sido víctima de un traumatismo craneoencefálico; se evidencia que de las cinco etapas de la respuesta sexual, el deseo es la fase más afectada y que a mayor edad más dificultades de la función sexual sana y placentera. Finalmente, quienes han sido sometidos a procedimientos quirúrgicos y con estancia en la unidad de cuidados intensivos, causan un deterioro más predominante.spa

dc.description.abstractengOne problem that has accompanied human beings since ancient times in history, is the Trauma Brain Injury (TBI ) ,in what today is referred to as a "silent epidemic " significantly affecting national public health and globally. Turn, is a major cause of death in the country and usually cause disability in the person suffering the injury, causing cognitive sequelae, physical, psychological and social, that affect their functionand activities of daily living. Similarly, sexuality is part of the integrity of the human being can also be affected by a head injury, therefore it was the interest of the present research study taking sexual response, so you set a goal to determine sexual response in men who have sufferedmoderate or severe head trauma, twelve months after hospital discharge, in the city of Ibague. Was performed using a method that included the Empirical -Analytic paradigm, focusing Quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive. The population was taken into account were 10 people who had a moderate or severe head trauma, within an age range between 18-45 years old, male. Assessment instruments were used as: The Questionnaire Changes in Sexual Function (CSFQ) and the Sexual Experience Scale of Arizona (ASEX), where they showed alterations in the stages of sexual response in men who have been victims of braintrauma; is evidence of the five stages of sexual response, desire is the most affected phase and that the older harder healthy and pleasurable sexual function.Finally, those who have undergone surgical procedures and stay in the intensive care unit, a predominant cause deterioration.spa
