dc.description.abstract	Este artículo parte de la experiencia de los autores en el campo de la Psicología Clínica y de la Salud, donde han podido verificar como los consultantes o pacientes muchas veces presentan dificultades frente a la adherencia al tratamiento, debido al desconocimiento, temor, reacciones adversas de los medicamentos, a las creencias irracionales o a los imaginarios de la realidad social, es decir, considerar que la desaparición de signos y síntomas sin haber culminado el tratamiento, significa estar “aliviado” o “recuperado”; más aún la concepción acerca de la enfermedad o la no dimensión de ésta. Se hará un recorrido desde la conceptualización del término de adherencia al tratamiento teniendo en cuenta el papel que cumple el médico, la familia y el individuo frente a su recuperación y las condiciones en torno a la calidad de vida.	en_ES

dc.description.abstracteng	This article is the result of the authors ́ experience on the clinic and health Psychology, where they have been able to verify how the patients show difficulties very often to adherence to therapy, due to the lack of knowledge, fear, adverse reactions to medications, to irrational beliefs or to the imaginaries of social reality, that is to say, to consider that disappearance of signal and symptoms without finishing the treatment , means to be cured or recuperated; even more the idea about the disease or the non-dimension of the sickness. We will lookfrom the concept of adherence to treatment taking into account the physician, the family, and the patient’s role, in front of his recovery and the conditions around the quality of life.	en_ES
