dc.description.abstract	Hacer una lectura filosófica de la universidad para nuestra América, es presentarle un concepto que no solamente se puede leer e interpretar desde el saber filosófico, sino también que puede estar en constante diálogo con las humanidades, la ciencia, la tecnología y la técnica; sin embargo, nos en-seña cómo se busca confrontar a la universidad sobre el sentido formativo que ella tiene para nuestro tiempo con relación a los retos y desafíos que cada día desde este se nos plantean. Por otro lado, pensar la universidad para nuestra América desde la filosofía, es ponerla a dialogar con la tradición histórica, social y cultural que tenemos, lo que nos permite reconocernos como americanos, confrontarnos en nuestros imaginarios, reconfigurar nuestra identidad como latinoamericanos; y en especial, identificar las herencias ideológicas que tenemos en nuestras formas de leer e interpretar el mundo.	spa

dc.description.abstracteng	To carry out a philosophical reading of our University to the America continent means to intro-duce a concept that cannot be understood just from the philosophical field, but it has to be connec-ted also to the humanities, science and technology. Nevertheless, the philosophical knowledge can teach us how the university faces the formative perspective that it has in our time linked to the daily challenges. On the other hand, thinking in a philosophy view about the university for the America continent, places the university in a dialogue with the historical, social and cultural tradition, it allows us to re-cognize each other as real citizens of the American continent, facing our imaginary ideas, rebuilding our identity as Latin-American people, and specially, to identify the ideological heritage that we have in our ways of reading and interpreting the world.	spa
