| spa |

dc.description.abstracteng | From the anthropological acceptation of the notion of culture, we have tried to demonstrate that the norms of behavior of the members of the ethnic groups are directly related with the cultural. In this guideline, we have selected some of her topics and practices, showing the necessity to known them and so to construct a truly intercultural relationship where prime the respect for difference. Territory, orality and solidarity, and reci-procity are central issues to the understanding of the wayuu culture and his regulatory system. Payment for the “dowry”, compensation practices and the prevention of failures and their consequences are part of the purpose to make visible them, so those who have the Mission of administering justice valued them and give proper treatment; on the other hand, we hope that this understanding of the culture of this aboriginal people open the minds of those who try to ignore that the diversity is an essential part of our heritage. | spa |
