Alejandra Pizarnik affirms that although she is in a constant search for what to mean about
her feelings in relation to both concrete and abstract issues, she will end up being put in the place
of limitation by affecting any dissertation. So she affirms that it is never enough to name the "truth"
of her suffering, her pain and her sadness. Moreover, when the subject presents a process of
introspection, a truth can emerge that gives her a hiatus in the course of her life, just as that truth
can also emerge from a painful experience that concerns only that subject, thus emerging in
melancholy. It is for the latter reason that we hope to find the way in which Alejandra Pizarnik
names melancholy and truth and their relationship, and to find in that poetic saying a possible link
with the thought of Frederic Pellion and Sigmund Freud regarding melancholy and its connection
with the truth
On the other hand, in the development of the work, an essential concept emerges: language,
since in order to establish a more telling form the relationship of melancholy and truth, it was
necessary to take this concept and deepen it; therefore, it is essential to link these three concepts:
Melancholy, truth and language in Alejandra Pizarnik, because without these, it should not be
understood more broadly that melancholy is a matter linked to truth, while the latter is its it causes,
and language being in that truth its subversion. |
