El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar las afectaciones de las
PYMES del municipio de Envigado frente a los impuestos durante la pandemia por COVID-19,
teniendo en cuenta que este evento de salud mundial obligó a que las empresas cerraran y
suspendieran temporalmente las actividades generando una reducción parcial o total de las rentas.
A través del desarrollo de una investigación de tipo cuantitativa, no experimental y descriptiva
se elabora una encuesta con preguntas cerradas que responden a tres aspectos: una caracterización
de las empresas, un reconocimiento de los procesos contables, un conocimiento de las
afectaciones y las soluciones efectuadas a fin de mejorar la situación a nivel tributario; la
población de empresas de Envigado fue de 58 y una muestra de 37 accedió voluntariamente a
responder a través de un correo electrónico enviado por las estudiantes.
Como resultados se resalta que las empresas cuentan con departamentos contables en su
mayoría, se tuvieron afectaciones parciales por la pandemia y a pesar de que se conocían los
beneficios tributarios no todas incluyeron estas estrategias para mitigar las dificultades que
tuvieron en el pago de los impuestos. Se concluye que las empresas del municipio de Envigado
cumplieron con sus obligaciones durante la pandemia y las afectaciones no fueron significativas,
no obstante, se recomienda que conozcan los beneficios dados por el Gobierno que siguen
vigentes y aquellos futuros ante una eventual pandemia o evento imprevisto.
The aim of this research project is to determinate the effects of the SMEs of the
municipality of Envigado in relation to taxes during the COVID-19 pandemic, considering that
this global health event forced companies to close and temporarily suspend their activities,
generating a partial or total reduction of income.
Through the development of a quantitative, non-experimental and descriptive research, a
survey is elaborated with closed questions that respond to three aspects: a characterization of the
companies, a recognition of the accounting processes, a knowledge of the affectations and the
solutions carried out in order to improve the situation at tax level; the population of companies in
Envigado was 58 and a sample of 37 voluntarily agreed to answer through an e-mail sent by the
students.
As results it is highlighted that most of the companies have accounting departments, they
were partially affected by the pandemic and although they were aware of the tax benefits, not all
of them included these strategies to mitigate the difficulties they had in the payment of taxes. It is
concluded that the companies of significantly of Envigado followed their obligations during the
pandemic and the effects were not significant, however, it is recommended that they know the
benefits provided by the Government that are still in force and those future benefits in case of an
eventual pandemic or unforeseen event.
