The region of Uraba, is mainly characterized by its access to the two largest oceans of the world economy as a great natural wealth, however, has been one of the regions with the highest not only social but also economic backwardness. The investigation team is aware of this and of the impact that this municipality in Antioquia has the potential to generate development, sees the need to perform a descriptive research, with a technique implemented in the documentary analysis, seeking to identify determinants that demonstrate the projects and plans of the different entities as the Government of Antioquia and other public and private institutions, in order to dimension the extent to which these strategies have for growth in the region of Uraba, with a view to becoming a new center regional able to mark out the development of Antioquia and the country.
