dc.description.abstract | El artículo presenta resultados de la investiga-ción orientada a indagar por los factores de riesgo y protección para el consumo de sustancias en los estudiantes de Instituto de Filosofía de la Univer-sidad de Antioquia. Se empleó el enfoque cuanti-tativo transversal de nivel descriptivo. Se aplicó el cuestionario de factores de riesgo y de protec-ción para el consumo de drogas en jóvenes uni-versitarios, diseñado y validado en la población colombina por Salazar, Varela, Tovar y Cáceres de Rodríguez (2006), en una muestra de 25 estu-diantes de los primeros semestres del Instituto de Filosofía de la Universidad de Antioquia. Se ob-servó que el 88% de la población encuestada tiene presencia de riesgo en el factor de “preconceptos y valoración de las SPA”, un 76% en el factor de “permisividad social y accesibilidad a las SPA” y un 60% en el factor de “espiritualidad”. Se encon-tró presencia de protección en el factor “malestar emocional” para 26% de los entrevistados, en el factor de “habilidades sociales y de autocontrol” para el 40% y en el factor de “satisfacción con relaciones interpersonales” para un 20%. El 76% de los estudiantes encuestados no conocen o no saben si existen mecanismos de intervención de 150 Factores de riesgo y de protección para el consumo de drogas en los estudiantes...Muñoz, C., Sandstede, M. y Klimenko, O. los factores de riesgo para el consumo de drogas al interior de la Universidad de Antio-quia. El 24% que sí conoce los mecanismos de intervención manifiesta que pertenece a Bienestar Universitario, al Programa Educativo de Prevención de Adicciones, PEPA. Se recomienda que se realicen estudios dentro de la Universidad de Antioquia que inclu-yan estudiantes de otras dependencias. | en_ES |

dc.description.abstracteng | The article presents results of the investigation oriented to investigate the risk factors and protection for the substance use in the students of Institute of Philosophy of the University of Antioquia. It was used the descriptive level cross-sectional quantitative approach. It was apply the Questionnaire of risk and protection factors for drug use in university students, designed and validated in the Colombian population by Salazar, Varela, Tovar y Cáceres de Rodríguez (2006), in a sample of 25 students from the first semesters of the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Antioquia. It was observed that 88% of the population show the presence of risk in the factor of “preconceptions and assessment of SPAs”, 76% in the factor of “social permissiveness and accessibility to SPAs”, and 60% in the factor of “spirituality”. The presence of protection in the “emotional distress” factor was found for 26% of the respondents, in the “social skills and self-control” factor for 40% and in the “satisfaction with interpersonal” factor for 20%. 76% of the participating students do not know the mechanisms of intervention of the risk factors for the consumption of drugs used in the University of Antioquia. The 24% know the mechanisms of intervention and ensure that these belong to University Welfare to the Addiction Prevention Education Program, PEPA. It is recommended that studies be carried out within the University of Antioquia that include students from other units. | en_ES |
