Jerarquía de valores en practicantes de psicología clínica

Abstract

La investigación busca identificar los valores presentes en los estudiantes de psicología de los semestres noveno y décimo de la Institución Universitaria de Envigado, que actualmente se encuentran realizando las prácticas profesionales en el ámbito clínico. Se usó una metodología con enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño no experimental, el instrumento utilizado fue la jerarquía de valores de Shalom Schwartz, la cual logra conceptualizar los valores de forma objetiva, además de plantearlos en referencia a variables sociodemográficas como sexo, edad, estrato socioeconómico, estado civil, semestre y religión. Se evidencia que existe una relación entre las carreras profesionales del área social y de la salud, donde los sujetos se preocupan por el bienestar y el cuidado de la sociedad y de los otros.

The research seeks to identify the values present in the psychology students of the ninth and tenth semesters of the Envigado University Institution, who are currently carrying out professional practices in the clinical setting. A methodology with quantitative approach and a non-experimental design was used, the instrument used was the hierarchy of values of Shalom Schwartz, which manages to conceptualize the values objectively, in addition to raising them in reference to sociodemographic variables such as sex, age, socioeconomic status, marital status, semester and religion. It is evident that there is a relationship between the professional careers of the social and health area, where the subjects care about the well-being and care of society and others.
