Abstract:
La psicología aplicada resalta la responsabilidad de las personas en sus procesos de transformación, a fin de favorecer un mejor vínculo y desarrollo efectivo del tratamiento, si bien, tal respuesta exigida es comúnmente difundida en el lenguaje académico y popular, precisa de una delimitación conceptual y operativa que otorgue herramientas para una promoción más objetiva en la clínica psicoterapéutica. El objetivo de esta investigación es hacer una revisión teórica al concepto de responsabilidad, señalando aproximaciones epistemológicas y contextos de trabajo. Se realizó un análisis de investigaciones en bases de datos especializadas, con énfasis en publicaciones entre el 2000 y 2018. Como resultado, este estudio ha permitido caracterizar dos tradiciones epistemológicas en el tratamiento de la responsabilidad, a saber, una responsabilidad moral colectiva y personal, y una responsabilidad personal existencial. Conclusiones: la claridad epistemológica en relación con los constructos psicológicos, permite un abordaje empírico diferenciado y al tiempo resalta las líneas de integración para una práctica investigativa clara.
