Abstract:
Este artículo presenta resultados de un estudio mixto orientado a describir las actitudes prosociales en una muestra de los niños en una institución educativa oficial de la ciudad de Pereira, Colombia. Los participantes fueron 14 hombres y 10 mujeres entre los 7 y 10 años de tercer grado de primaria. La recolección de la información se obtuvo a partir de cuatro técnicas diseñadas por Sorín ajustadas al contexto. A partir de instrucciones se estableció diálogo individual y grupal para indagar asociaciones afecto-valorativas, identificaciones, empatía y comportamientos prosociales. Los resultados muestran mayor valoración prosocial hacia el género femenino, la pobreza, la amistad y el policía. Se indica cierta discriminación hacia la etnia negra e indígena. La religión se naturaliza culturalmente. Se presenta mayor generosidad y cooperación hacia la niñez pobre y sus amigos, pero no hacia la sinceridad.
