| spa |

dc.description.abstracteng | Music is the open field where human emotions roam freely. Therefore, the aim of this current investigation is to determine scenic anxiety related to emotional intelligence in a sample of the last semester´s students from management and instrumental performance for the musical practice's technology from the “Escuela Tecnológica Superior de Artes Débora Arango”; through a correlational quantitative research with a transversal descriptive level type and a Non Experimental design. For that was used a sociodemographic questionnaire, the Negative Affectivity Towards Music Performance Inventory (NAMPI), and the reduced version of the trait meta-mood scale (TMMS-24) in 14 students, 11 male, and 3 female, aged between 20 and 31 years. Although the results were non-concluded, it was observed that men and students aged between 20 and 24 years, tend to show major music performance negative affectivity and depressive components than women and students aged more than 24 years, both register high levels of music performance anxiety. Strings and percussion students present higher levels in the three Negative Affectivity Towards Music Performance´s factors. On the Emotional Intelligence components, women tend to show major clarity and emotional repair than men and both, age group between 20 and 24 years, and vocal technique students have better levels of attention, clarity, and emotional repair. Finally, there is no evidence of a significant correlation between the variables evaluated on the TMMS-24 and NAMPI, concluding both are independent. | spa |
