Este proyecto está enfocado en la necesidad de mejorar la gestión del almacén de repuestos en Alico para optimizar recursos y aumentar la rentabilidad, se ha propuesto la implementación de indicadores de inventarios, que permitirán un seguimiento más efectivo de los repuestos, especialmente aquellos con una rotación nula durante períodos prolongados. Este enfoque busca identificar y abordar proactivamente los repuestos que no contribuyen al flujo operativo de la empresa, evitando situaciones adversas como el exceso de inventarios o la obsolescencia de productos. En términos de objetivos específicos, se busca seleccionar y definir indicadores que estén alineados con los objetivos estratégicos de la empresa. Además, se utilizará el sistema ERP Epicor para recopilar datos confiables y realizar una evaluación exhaustiva del desempeño de los
inventarios. El análisis continuo de estos datos permitirá identificar áreas de mejora y aplicar cambios en los procesos logísticos y de almacenamiento, con el objetivo de aumentar la eficiencia y reducir costos asociados. Se sugiere implementar nuevos segmentadores de información basándose en los resultados obtenidos, los cuales permitirán la ejecución de nuevos indicadores, establecer una política clara de rotación de inventarios y mantener un monitoreo proactivo de la obsolescencia de los repuestos. Estas acciones son fundamentales para asegurar una mejora continua en la gestión de inventarios de ALICO, lo que a su vez contribuirá significativamente a su competitividad y rentabilidad en el mercado.
