dc.description.abstractUna educación pertinente contribuye a la solu-ción de problemas tecnológicos, sociales y econó-micos de la región, y garantiza la formación de profesionales con conocimientos y habilidades que les permita transcender su formación y ge-nerar innovación. Dada la necesidad de la Insti-tución Universidad de Envigado, IUE (Colombia), de analizar la pertinencia y el impacto social de su actual oferta de programas de pregrado, efectúa un estudio descriptivo al respecto del programa de Psicología y toma como punto de partida y re-ferencia para sus demás programas. Los resulta-dos del estudio permiten identificar las variables que determinan la relación del programa con el entorno, y su correspondencia social, como fac-tores para analizar la pertinencia del programa.en_ES

dc.description.abstractengA relevant education contributes to the solution of technological, social and economic problems of the region and guarantees the training of professionals with knowledge and skills that allows them to transcend their training and generate innovation. Given the need for the Institución Universitaria de Envigado, IUE (Colombia), to analyze the relevance and social impact of its current offer of undergraduate programs, it carries out a descriptive study of the psychology program and takes as a starting point and re-ference for your other programs. The results of the study allow identifying the variables that determine the relationship between the program and the environment and their social correspondence, as factors to analyze the relevance of the program.en_ES
